- Awesome Music: The soundtrack does a good job replicating the soundtrack to 80s horror films, the biggest contenders are the menu theme and the chase theme.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: Say what you want about the graphics, but the graphics look impressive for a mobile game, as they are on par with Rockstar Games' own games such as Bully for example.
- Iron Woobie: The protagonists J and Mike, especially when they get captured by Rod Sullivan, however, they're still able to rescue their friends on time and get everybody together safely.
- The Woobie: Mike, when he found out Rod Sullivan captured Lis, he was so upset that when he couldn't catch up, he threw his perfume that was meant to be a gift to Lis, he later becomes an Iron Woobie starting in the third game though, but still he ends up getting captured by Rod Sullivan.
