• Nightmare Fuel: Some parts of Exile get downright disturbing at times.
  • In particular, The Road starts with Theo asking a woman in a very creepy manner why she's out so late by herself, followed immediately by a pretty frightening guitar riff. The song also ends with an incredibly loud and sporadic synthesizer that would fit right in with a monster movie.
• Pop-Culture Isolation: The group were a moderate success in their native Britain and throughout Europe, but good luck finding anyone in the U.S who knows a single one of their songs. And no, Under Control does not count.
