- Designated Hero: Jean Kayak starts the movie out as a drunken applejack brewer and becomes a furtrapper, meaning he has to kill hundreds of animals solely for personal gain. Including babies. He never expresses remorse, changes his motives, or saves anyone. If anyone, the beaver versions of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson act more like traditional heroes.
