• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • When Lucifer's taunting Adam about seducing his second wife, was he merely taunting Adam to get a rise out of him, or did Eve and Lucifer actually have a fling? Or was he referring to giving her the Apple?
  • When Alastor's sarcastically refers to himself as an altruist who (almost) died for his friends, is he disgusted by the idea that he nearly died in such a heroic and out of character fashion? Or is he afraid that might really be starting to care about Charlie and the others, slowly beginning to view them as friends? The earlier scene in the episode where he says to Niffty that he at the very least enjoys the rapport of the gang, without any sign of manipulation or insincerity in his voice, heavily implies that some part of the latter reason is very much true.
  • When Sera sees the ascended Sir Pentious, does her expression come from disbelief and shock that redemption for demons actually is possible or is it horror that, since redemption is actually possible, she's been authorizing the slaughter of people who could have been redeeming themselves? Is it a possible mix of both?
  • Charlie's reaction when she thought Adam had killed Alastor — was it concern for him, concern that they now have to deal with Adam without their most powerful fighter or both?
• Epileptic Trees: Due to the fact that he materialized in front of both Sera and Emily, fans have theorized that either whatever higher power exists put him in there on purpose in order to show them that redemption for sinners is possible or Sir Pentious is a new seraph, owning to the fact that they have been referred to as celestial serpents in scripture.
• No Yay: The episode confirms that Valentino and Vox are boyfriends or at the very least in a physical relationship. This upset and put off numerous fans as Valentino's reprehensible behavior throughout the season and his abusive behavior on Instagram, especially towards Angel, meant that fans did not want to see Val in a relationship with anyone.
