- Funny Moments:John Stranger: Wait. There seems to be someone missing from this little picture. Someone of great importance right now. (looks around) Where's Max?

- Hilarious in Hindsight: The story revolves around monsters based on the monsters that appeared in the series being freed to wreak havoc on the world and the heroes having to reseal them. Eight years later, the Goosebumps movie has the exact same plot (minus the Magical Girl elements).
- Nausea Fuel: Chapter 22 is full of this, from the shop that sells spare body parts (with some freshly amputated and others savaged from dead bodies), to the realization that Victor can now only eat grub now that he's a zombie.
- Nightmare Fuel: Revolta really lives up to her name, to say the very least. Of course, she is the Big Bad of this fic.
- Grunge pulling apart and devouring several guards, all described in graphic detail.
