• Hilarious in Hindsight: Issue one's plot revolves around the G-Signaller, a device that's able to summon, repel and disorientate kaiju using high frequency sounds. Eight years later and a similar device, even down to the look, called the ORCA would be integral to the plot of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) even sharing a background in originally being developed to commune with whales.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The anthological nature of these stories made for some plots cut short – a fact not helped by occasional Cliffhanger endings. In particular, Issue 3 made little of why exactly Tristan connected with Titanosaurus.
