- Awesome Art: The hand-drawn animation is breathtaking. It's very lively and expressive throughout. Special mention to Freddy's animation in the climax. His exaggerated movements and expressions make him look like something straight out of The Ren & Stimpy Show, in a good way. The hard work that Harvey Rothman put into this film is evident throughout, and the results are stunning.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: One of the children's drawings in the background says "What's with the eyes?" and another asks if the animatronics are highnote . When the Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) movie teaser was released in May 2023, the animatronics' glowing red eyes caused people to joke once again that the animatronics are high.
- Moe:
- Foxy! He's so sweet and innocent, and his anxiety about meeting the security guard makes him even more endearing.
- Chica as well. It's clear that she's trying her best to be nice to Foxy, even though she's not too sure how to comfort him. Her fluffy texture and beautiful Welsh accent also help.
