The Woobie: Poor Botan. The woman grew disenfrancised in a society that actively hopes for her non-existence and became destitute when she became a single mother. Botan joined the Humarise cult in hopes of support to not lose her daughter only for said daughter to be taken away from her and brainwashed. Botan attempted to escape only to be forced back and watched so many people being indoctrinated that she lost hope that she would ever leave or see her daughter again.
