YMMV / Family Guy S 5 E 14 No Meals On Wheels

• Harsher in Hindsight: One scene has Peter watching the opening of Maude and getting progressively more annoyed with how long the theme song is taking, to the point that he describes it as an ordeal when it's finally over. A later episode (coincidentally with a name that is a Shout-Out to the very same show) would have the entirety of another show's opening intro play out as a cutaway gag, and it would be considered by many to be one of the worst cutaway gags of the entire show, enough to make a lot of fans that still watched Family Guy give up on it entirely. For bonus points, the opening of Maude that Peter got annoyed by in this episode wasn't even half as long.
