• Accidental Aesop: Children can pick up racist beliefs at a very young age.
• Franchise Original Sin: Brian committing some wrongdoing without ever owning up to it. This becomes a staple in his character down the line.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • When working on the Who's the Boss? parade float Peter lists all the main characters from the show as "not the boss", including Angela. He would later get a boss named Angela.
  • To get Stewie back, Joe and Cleveland pretend to be door-to-door salesman, and the husband inexplicably mistakes them for a gay couple (much to their confusion). A later episode would have Joe and Cleveland make out during a game of Truth or Dare.
