• Alternative Character Interpretation: The comic offers a rather interesting take on the game of Sburb, Skaia, and the armies of Derse; namely Skaia as a horrible Eldritch Abomination that forces children to die and suffer for it's own entertainment/propagation and the Black Royalty as well-intentioned extremists who simply want to stop Skaia from destroying innocent worlds and races through Sburb.
• Crazy Is Cool: Eridan Ampora; homeless teal-blooded zombie horse taming pink parasol wielding Prince of Space.
• One-Scene Wonder: Prospitan versions of Problem Sleuth and Hysterical Dame appear in a cameo for one page due to a command... and than die on the very next page due to another command.
• The Woobie: Vriska. She's constantly bullied by Nepeta, she has no self-confidence whatsoever, she's scared out of her mind about half the time...basically, take Canon!Karkat's issues and then add the fact that all the people she knows treat her like a doormat and walk all over her and constant, paralyzing fear.
