• Moe: The designs of the main cast are all incredibly adorable, but true shout outs go to the main protagonist, Yua Serufu. She's sweet, ditzy, has very playful facial expressions, and animates in a relaxingly carefree manner.
• Spiritual Successor: Many consider it a welcomed successor to the likes of Hidamari Sketch and Sketchbook, both of which aired 15 years prior and similarly involved making art with an adolescent group of artistic girls. It also helps Serufu looks a lot like Mike, a character from the latter.
