- Character Rerailment:
- After a handful of episodes that focused on his relationship with Sam to the point of taking over his every action, Danny is back to acting more independently and doesn't once think about her.
- After spending several episodes suffering from Villain Decay, Vlad returns to being the Manipulative Bastard he was in the first two seasons by using Valerie to further his plans.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: A character named Gray has a dungeon where they torture their love interest. What was the name of her debut episode, again...?
- Retroactive Recognition: Oh, so it was written by someone named Amy Keating Rog— (Double Take) AMY KEATING ROGERS?!
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: While not a bad episode in any way, combining Valerie's arc with Danielle's squandered the story ideas both had, especially with this being the penultimate episode.
- Valerie's arc could've taken place in any episode previously. For example, instead of the Fentons getting rich in "Livin' Large," it could've been Valerie and her father getting their financial stability back. Valerie's own character would fit this better than Danny, as she'd realize the shallow person she used to be and decide to turn over a new leaf.
- Danielle's stabilization and leaving Amity Park could've remained the focus of the episode. She could've met Jazz or even had genuine interactions with the Fentons in general by pretending to be a homeless girl looking for a place to stay. Considering she was meant to be adopted by the Fentons had the series continued, this would have been the best time to make that a thing.
