• Awesome Music: The OP: CRUSH GEAR FIGHT!! - performed by JAM Project. The English version loses none of the charm, either.
• The Problem with Licensed Games: "Gekitou! Crush Gear Turbo" for PlayStation is a problematic product that fails to entice even the most hardcore fans of Crush Gear Turbo series. The game relies on Button Mashing instead of tactical hit and evade like typical vehicular combat games. Also, unlike "Eternal Wing", a game adaptation of Bakusou Kyoudai! Let's & Go!! where you can at least control your 4WD like when to use acceleration and brakes, this game does not even allow it. Your 4WD moves on its own and your control is restricted on tapping certain buttons furiously when the game tells you, and your 4WD will stop moving only after it loses the match.
