- Adaptation Displacement: Only the most devout and loyal Critora fans will know that the show's characters actually first appeared (with different appearances and occasionally different names) in a webcomic series by Derek Spangler from 2016 named Avey, and that a very small number of the Critora (notably Avery and Bunsen) were originally created by Spangler as Mixels fan characters.
