• Alternative Character Interpretation: How much of Numbuh 5 and Cree's lament over them not being as close before was just them trying to get the other to lower their guard and how much of it was sincere? Considering how close they used to be, it's hard to assume that neither of them regret how things turned out and Cree claiming that she was going to do the same thing to Numbuh 5 and Abby was just faster sounds eerily like a Suspiciously Specific Denial that she was being sincere.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Numbuh 5 and Cree, once comrades in arms, now fighting each other, while a female character is on the sidelines, almost powerless to stop them, is evocative of Revenge of the Sith, coming out two years after this episode aired, not at all helped by the one who turned evil wearing a black suit of Powered Armor. Thankfully however, Cree doesn’t have to be dipped in a pool of lava, just sent into a trash can.
