- Ensemble Dark Horse: Sir Cat is one of the most popular characters despite being The Ghost.
- Special Effects Failure: An inversion. While the game looks very convincing for a fake Nintendo 64 title, it lacks some of the limitations of its hardware. The lack of the infamous fog, high quality textures in certain areas, the smooth framerate, it all ruins the immersion the game tries to achieve, which is one of the biggest complaints of the ARG.
- Tear Jerker: The completed message strung from all the hidden phrases in each video is a letter from Manfred Lorenz addressed to his deceased daughter Thea, apologizing that he couldn't finish the project, which was made in tribute to her, and lamenting that he's now trapped in a Hell of his own making.
