• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The show has a lot of similarities with Pokemon a decade later, as it follows a young boy traveling with a yellow companion with a bad guy wanting to capture the yellow friend. Funny enough, some of the voice cast in the original Japanese version would later voice characters in that anime.
  • This won't be the last time Rick Jones voices a yellow car.
• Superlative Dubbing: While it has some tweaks, the Saban dub is very good for a children's anime, especially as it was one of the few shows to have real kids voice acting in it.
