• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The series became rather popular in Spain in 2005, when Antena 3 broadcast it in order to capitalize on the craze of The Da Vinci Code. Hilariously, a goof happened in the channel for this very reason: Antena 3 had renamed the series The Templars Code as a reference, but someone screwed it up with the ads and some of them ended up misannouncing the series as The Da Vinci Code, making it look like it was an adaptation of the novel. The resultant confusion likely only brought it even more viewers.
