• Fanon: Specific to the Spirit Society AU, where a plotline involves the Spirit Society version of Ichigo needing to get powers from tengu Rukia in a recreation of Ichigo and Rukia's first meeting in the original manga. However, given that the Spirit Society does not have zanpakuto, it's unclear how Rukia passes her powers to Ichigo, so shippers in the fandom decided that it was via a Magic Kiss.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: When the "Everything but the Rain" sub-arc versions of Isshin Shiba, Masaki Kurosaki and Ryuken Ishida were released, White — the Hollow who became Ichigo's Enemy Within — only received a brief cameo in the trailer, to the dismay of fans wanting all the characters from the Thousand-Year Blood War in the game.
