• Fountain of Memes: Hot Shot's absurd dialogue is the source of many memes, usually applied to other iterations of the character. It's nearly impossible to discuss Hot Shot without jam or his shoulders hurting being brought up, and helicopter Transformers were frequently called "jam coptors" in the early 2000s as a by-product of his nickname for the helicopter Mini-con Jolt. In fact, it became an Ascended Meme on one of Hot Shot's toys depicting it as a mysterious fuel source he was obsessed with, to the confusion of the other Autobots and in Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy, Hot Shot lets out a cry of "Jaaaaaaaaam!" after he's pulled out of a vat of goop. The original pack-in comic was also included in a Thirtieth Anniversary Collection as the sole Unicron Trilogy comic simply because it was really well known.
