Hilarious in Hindsight: In "The Tragedy of Darth Sand", Yoda forces one of Palpatine's blasts of Force Lightning back at him, knocking him down. In The Rise of Skywalker, released a little under two years later, Rey defeats Palpatine in a very similar manner, though using their lightsaber and Ben's rather than hand gestures.
