Venable has doomed the Foundation
When he tries to take Jen back with him, his actions end up exposing the existence of the Foundation to the general public.
Their deaths will inevitably start an investigation into identifying them and the owner of the vehicle they used. Jen would also have to make a statement about who they are and what happened.
After all, their society is located inside the State of Virginia and is subject to State and Federal law. Their traps and hunters would be no match for a well-trained SWAT team or FBI HRT and the National Guard would cordon off the area until each and every one of them was rooted out.
