Headscratchers / Wrong Turn (2021)

• How could Venable be so *bleeping* stupid as to go after Jen outside of the Foundation's territory and try to take her back despite her making it pretty clear that she wants nothing to do with him?
  • A lot of factors: She killed a lot of people during her escape, she managed to get out while the rest of her friends died, chose to stay or were sent to the "Darkness", and she was also pregnant with his child. It's not hard to imagine that he felt entitled to have her back at his side, and that he didn't care about any possible consequences. He probably didn't expect Jen to be able to fight back and kill him and his group while she was being taken away back to the Foundation.
• When the log is rolling down the hill at the beginning, why didn't any of them think to run to the side instead of, you know, the direction the log was coming down?
  • They were all proud graduates of The Prometheus School of Running Away from Things.
