WMG / The DNAgents

Lancer is the original attempt at creating a DNAgent.

Call it a long shot, but there are few if any actual superhumans in the setting who didn't get their powers from the same element that gave the agents theirs. Maybe the actual DNAgents were based on research that created him for a totally different purpose, and whoever created him was a comic book geek who programmed in all the different origin stories he talks about having. He honestly doesn't know any different so he always changes his story when asked.
