Gaius will ask Jesus to heal a dying servant
  • In the Book of Matthew and the Book of Luke, there is one story where a Centurion in Capernaum asks Jesus to heal a servant. Jesus not only does so but also praises the centurion for having such strong faith. The show establishes Gaius as being a Centurion, being stationed in Capernaum, and being sympathetic to the apostle Matthew due to a shared past with him. The only problem here is that Gaius isn't shown to have a servant.
    • In Clean, Part 2, Gaius mentions having a child-servant in his household whom he raised from birth and whom his son considers a brother.
    • In "Ears to Hear," it's confirmed that the child-servant is Gaius's son via a servant, and that he is seriously ill. Not only that, but in a different context, Simon mentions that Jesus is capable of healing someone without being present. At this point, it would be extremely surprising if Gaius weren't the centurion whose servant Jesus heals.
  • Confirmed! Gaius comes to Jesus to heal his servant/son in Episode 4 of Season 4, and is indeed the centurion who has strong faith.

Gaius will help to crucify Jesus
  • In the Book of Matthew, when Jesus is crucified, an unnamed Roman Soldier who helped carry out the execution cries out "Truely this is the son of God". The show seems to be showing Gaius begin to come around to Jesus. Gaius first tries unsuccessfully to talk Matthew out of following Jesus, and later when he meets Jesus in person, he asks what Matthew sees in this path in life.
  • Given the outcome of the previous WMG, this seems unlikely.

Atticus will help crucify Jesus.
  • Given the unlikelihood of the above WMG, it seems likely that Atticus will be the one at the crucifixion. He seems to have witnessed Jesus walking on water and have some interest in Jesus, and would likely put two and two together at the cross.

There might be a romance between Andrew and Joanna at some stage
  • There was definitely some chemistry-ish moments between them at the beginning of S3, and Joanna mentioned her husband's infidelity (which could be setting up for her to gain a new love interest?). This is a completely random theory, but who knows?

We will meet one of the zealots sent to assassinate Simon Z. again.
  • Either we will learn that one of them is Barabbas and pardoned instead of Jesus. Simon will maybe lead him to Jesus afterwards. Or one or two of them get crucified with Jesus shortly after meeting their former comrade Simon another time.

The secretary of the Ethiopian queen will be Tamar's brother, and Tamar will lead Phillip into meeting him.
  • Tamar said that she only has a brother left of her family. And in her first appearance, she was said to have Ethiopian heritage. The family also seems to be rather rich, and maybe even nobility. Could it be that he is the finance minister of the queen of Ethiopia? And that he will travel to Jerusalem in some years - not just to learn about the Jewish faith, but also to meet his sister again?

Ramah will be resurrected at the Crucifixion.
  • In the Gospels, there is a scene where at the Crucifixion, the graves burst open and people who have died walk around and see their loved ones. Jesus said at Ramah's death that "it is not her time." Maybe she will be resurrected, but just not at that moment?

Yussif is Joseph of Arimathea.
  • This is a super common theory online, but we know that Yussif comes from wealth and is able to buy his way into the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem (we even see his father in Season 4), and it makes sense that he would have the influence and, as a secret follower of Christ, be interested in securing Jesus' body after the Crucifixion.
    • In Season 3, Yussif is able to quickly import materials to fix the broken cistern in Capernaum because his family runs a construction business and owns the stone quarry in Jerusalem. It's possible that he and his family built the tomb Jesus will be placed in, for the Gospels state that it belonged to Joseph of Arimathea.
    • In the last episode of Season 4, he is the one who picks up on the fact that Jesus says Mary anointed his feet "for burial."
