The short film hints on the upcoming to the Netflix The Bad Guys Tv Show.
I understand that Dreamworks already had done few Christmas specials with characters from their most beloved films, but The Bad Guys one is probably the only one released through Netflix, if I recall correctly. There has to be some reason, and this reason is the fact that maybe in the 2024 we might get on Netlix The Bad Guys: Animated Series. Other evidence for supporting this theory, is the fact that animation in the special looks similar to how various animated shows look like during their first seasons. If my theory will be proven true, and in the next year we will get confirmation about animated show based on the The Bad Guys which will premiere on Netlix, I will be over the moon.- Plus, opening titles of the special look similar to how most openings in Dreamworks TV Shows look like.
