Nekoya restaurant used to have a pet cat
Daiki Yamagata the grandfather of the current Master named the restaurant Nekoya due to his love of cats. He might have had a pet cat 10 years to 50 years ago. The logo of the door might actually be based on the cat itself, down to the image.- Confirmed in every detail (though without explicitly saying it) in the final episode of the series, during the flashback montage of Daiki and Yomi's life together, right down to the hanging of the logo.
Mako/Current Master of the restaurant has superhuman speed and reflexes
Mako is the direct descendent of the legendary hero that defeated the demon king. At peak times, he is able to cook more than 20 dishes an hour without any help from other chefs. If a Season 3 comes along, Sirius Alfade could possibly work with Myra on Macaroni Gratin, in exchange for pushing Alfade products like their own version of pizza.
Both of them are business minded, and Sirius' company has a strong focus on wheat and pasta, which would be perfect for Myra to help develop her own version of Macaroni Gratin. In turn, her father's business could help push out the Alfade company's pizza dishes, which would only further make their little shop even more prosperous.
