Hippocampus is Tyrannis and Stupendous's half-brother.
Tyrannis and Stupendous look fully human while Hippocampus is a fish-person. While it's possible that he's just different for one reason or another (one of his parents is descendant from a sea-god or shapeshifted into a fish as part of some sex game), it's also likely that some infidelity was involved. The Greek Gods — especially Zeus and Aphrodite — are infamous for their promiscuity, so it's likely that either one of them cheated or they had a threesome with a sea-god or a mermaid or some other sea beast, resulting in a Fish Person.- Confirmed, where he admits to being Tyrannis's half-brother in "Wife Swamp".

Schlub is a chimera
, an actual being described in Greek myth. He combines elements of several fantastic creatures, including a human, centaur, minotaur, and manticore—likely he gets this from his parents and/or grandparents, who must've been quite disparate species.- The show chooses to use the term "mantitaur".
