Brad is the one who sent that text to Mark.

Once per save, one of Mark’s lines of dialogue talks about getting a text reading, “Luv u babe <3” from someone who signed it “B.” He wonders if something’s wrong with the network, but generally when that’s said, odds are the text was intentional. There’s only two employees in the game that have names that begin with B, Brad and R.J. Barron. However, “B,” seems to be a first name as opposed to a surname, ruling Barron out. Judging by Brad’s personality, it makes sense from that perspective too, since he’s usually on his phone, it makes more sense for him to send a text than an actual letter, and the manner of typing comes across as very Brad-like. Of course, it could be another random employee, but this line of dialogue only shows up once every save file, and the only other lines of dialogue that do that are Sorrow or Thanager-related or otherwise rather important. None of Brad’s dialogue seems to support this at the moment, but it’s quite possible that he’s the “B” in question.
  • Confirmed if you talk to Mark after beating Life.

Maxxx is one of the first Sorrows.

Maxxx is probably the only Sorrow who seems like he's actually trying to communicate with Death on a level beyond violence. While some of the Sorrows were unambiguously not created by Death, others were, as the intro cinematic shows. Maxxx also asks Death if they can go "fly fishing" together in one pre-battle conversation, and if you win, Death tells Maxxx that he "doesn't even know who he's imitating."Maxxx could be one of the original Sorrows Death created, and views him as a father figure, explaining his bizarre efforts to "bond" with him. His origin is a complete mystery throughout the company, since there's no information on Maxxx available, and the only person who 'does' have information, Death, is unwilling to talk about it.

Pump Quinn is the one that destroys the elevator at the end of every run, which is revealed in the full finished version of the game.

Potential for it can go a couple of ways. one is that she is secretly frustrated that Death is doing all this just so he can escape his duties without actually bothering to fix anything in a permanent way. Another could be a simple case of Mad Love and she doesn't want him to go away. Maybe she could be revealed to view him as cute but incompetent and wants to keep him around to fail while on duty. It'd make sense considering how much she was promoted, only to be relegated as the newbie npc.
  • Jossed. In the Natural Disasters update, it's revealed that Time was actually the one destroying the elevator at the end of each run.
