The Baron's fortress is parallel to the Forest's Navel.
The Baron's forces are, according to the author's tumbler, located in a place where they can't get a hold of conventional weaponry, and it's also been strongly implied in-comic that they're in another dimension. The mountain range in the background of page 26 look like the mountains in the background looks like the ones on page 5, and the large tree in the Baron's fortress might be the same tree as the stump in the Forest's Navel, since a root from it was used as a focus for a spell to track Glenn and the remnant. Pedro will save Glenn and Co. from the Baron in the near future.
Pedro's superiority complex would make him unable to resist such a challenge. Shambles will eventually betray the Baron, becoming the true Big Bad
He just seems kind of eviler than the Baron, y'know? Patchverk will become a literal Puppet King
He will be incapacitated after his execution of Glenn’s grandfather fails (probably beaten up by someone) and in his weakened state someone will start to use him as a puppet and take over his kingdom. Likely the Baron. After this, his daughter will join the heroes to find a way to save him.
