- One possibility for this could be the two teams investigating different ends of the same murder, much like how Goodman left and Mooney joined the team when a case brought the Saint Marie detectives to London.
- It may even include Mooney and Poole returning to the fold in some capacity, Mooney actively assisting the detectives while Poole appears as either a Spirit Advisor or in a flashback to some related past case.
