I am a troper, who aims to one day publish my own novel and comic. My art isn't that great, but my writing, I've been told, is quite good. I came to TV Tropes to find storytelling advice, and, so far, I've succeeded. I am writing a long series and a bunch of connected short stories.

When I am not on TV Tropes, I am always reading a book, or talking with my fellowship of friends. All of us are Authors, but, despite my best efforts, I'm the only one who goes to this site.

I'm an unrepentant punner.

Here is a sample of my writing: "Protai tore out of the Tower, his feet bashing the road, making thunder-claps with my each step. He had not yet discovered that the Tower, his birth place and one-time home, was burning as he ran. The sky had turned a fear-inducing shade of yellow-orange, and lightning parsed through the cloudless sky. The wind howled like some mad beast, and the rain hit the road like stones hitting water. He was alone and lost."

Um, that's about it. I chose the name Punishment because having to explain how stories work to me is probably some sort of punishment for everybody else here.

I am an example of the following tropes:

Stuff I Like

Tropes that Describe my drawing:

My Writing Provides Examples Of:

  • Cats Are Mean: A Running Gag in most of my works.
  • Funny Foreigner: Jerry the Frenchman is mocked by everybody else in my stories, has a neck-beard, and unintentionally makes a lot of puns.
  • Snaketalk: Used by eleven of the fourteen species in my short stories.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Protai, the villain of my long series, until he decides that his goals, which were noble, and his radicalism were hampering his ability.
  • Wham Episode: Crollestwern, the forth story in my long series, kills off several major characters and revolves around the main hero going evil. Also, the villain wins.
