Trivia / Wishbone S 1 E 21 The Canine Cure

• Banned Episode: As recounted on the main page, PBS pulled this episode from reruns in the late '90s due to concerns that it might cause children with genuine medical issues to believe their parents were being overprotective. Since the entire Wishbone series is very much a case of Keep Circulating the Tapes, it's unclear whether the episode is still officially considered to be banned.
• Throw It In!: According to Nathaniel's actor Justin Reese, "In the script, nothing triggered Nathanael seeing Wishbone; he just saw him. But while filming, at 'exactly' the right moment, after my line to Joe, Soccer sneezed! I turned, saw him, and had my freak-out moment. After the director cut, the crew were ecstatic that the happy accident had occurred and it made it into the episode."
