- Actor Allusion: An In-Universe one. In his "Boss Analysis" video on Raymond Sullivan, he notes that that his voice actor, Phil Hayes, also voiced Scratch in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. So what does he do? He plays a clip of Scratch's infamous laughter everytime Sullivan knocks Chuck on his ass. "Boss Analysis 7" has a cameo from Sullivan complete with Scratch's laughter as well.
- God-Created Canon Foreigner: Lub Lub originally came from his Crap Cartoons. He used him in his intro/outro of his videos, and is now his new avatar, despite him not doing the series anymore. Each video also ends on a humourous factoid about Lub Lub.
