Go To

  • Author Appeal: Due to disliking The Boom Boom Family and their fight, The Author made the decision to replace them with a different villain, who was revealed to be Stroheim.
  • Line to God: Unchained has a Discord server which the author is very active on.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: During Chapter 2's development, the author asked for fans to give name ideas for racers and their horses. Three would be chosen, and the ones whose names were picked would get a shout out in the end notes of the chapter. Badfinger, Dean O Reily and Macklemore alongside their horses were the chosen names.
  • Referenced by...: In Chapter 21 of Rubicon Crossroads, another JoJo Fanpart. There is mention of a Train Station named the Stallion Station, owned by the Chainlink Corporation.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • When planning the events of the first chapter, the author knew he wanted Nicholas to have a brief conversation with one of the other racers. Diego, Gyro, Hot Pants and Sandman were ones he was considering, before ultimately deciding on Diego. The reason for this was because Diego was the only character who knew Nicholas prior to the events of the race.
    • While writing Chapter 2, the author asked on discord if anyone would like for Urmd Avdol to be utilized more, but they showed no interest. So the author went with Avdol's canon fate. He regrets this now.
    • The Author has said that he initially planned for Nicholas to have conversations with Sandman and Diego at the end of Chapter 2, but those were both cut.
    • It has also been revealed by the author, that his original plan for the scene of Mountain Tim investigating the three murdered racers was gonna be at the end of Chapter 2. But his Beta Readers thought it would work better as the opening of Chapter 3. So he followed their advice.
    • The Author did consider splitting Chapter 3 into two different chapters, before deciding otherwise.
    • The Author revealed that he changed the ability of Stroheim’s stand Weird Science just before he started writing about it. His original plan was for Stroheim to keep his prosthetic hand with the gun in it. And that Weird Science would just be a stand that entered the gun and imbued the bullets with stand properties. He later thought this ability was too basic and uninteresting, so he added the metal manipulation idea on top of it, and Adapted Out Stroheim’s prosthetic hand.
