• Creator Killer: Newcomer Ed MacDonald was never an especially popular screenwriter with fans (the confirmation that he didn't bother familiarizing himself with any of the past seasons plus the implications that he was hired on a whim doesn't help his case), but his part in this episode cemented his reputation with fans.
