- Anonymous Author: Kelting's identity was kept a secret during the show's run. His name wasn't revealed until the 1986 book American Television Drama: The Experimental Years.
- Missing Episode: The publicity photo on the main page and a few stray newspaper mentions are all that remain of the show today. No other photos, let alone any video or audio recordings, exist.
- No Budget: Like most shows from the 1930s, The Television Ghost was filmed extremely cheaply, with only one actor, one set, and one shot per episode. The primitive mechanical TV standards of the time did not allow for very fancy effects or camera angles.
