• Ascended Fanon: Elyse Castro created Claire as a wood elf, but seems to have caved into the common fanon interpretation of her as a cat, as an interview with her after the animated adaptation has her explain that Claire is half-wood elf, half-cat, and in one Instagram post, she refers to her as a "catgirl". This is finally confirmed in the pitch bible.
• Sleeper Hit: The short has earned a Cult Classic status, currently sitting at 4.5 million views on YouTube.
