• What Could Have Been: Cesar Mazariegos revealed during his live tweets during the episode's airing that a cameo for Stephen King was planned (where he plays a grave digger who reassures a drunk Homer at Barney's grave and convinces him to get the Losers back together by saying he knows of a ritual to beat it, as a nod to the Ritual of Chud) but was scrapped due to scheduling. He also revealed the ending was supposed to show the Stephen King disasters Kang and Kodos were planning on unleashing terrorizing the town during the Losers' bike ride (which of course, they wouldn't notice) but was cut for being too much to animate.
