• Content Leak: A few days before broadcast, an unfinished version of this episode leaked online. The leaked version had two noticeable differences: it did not have the scary names for the cast and crew (just because those tend to be added in late in the day anyway, since it takes people a while to think of them), and had an extra line at the end of the final segment where Kang said "this sure is a lot like Iraq will be" (which was removed when showrunner Al Jean decided it was a little unsubtle, possibly helped by negative reaction to the line from people who'd viewed the leaked episode).
