- Defictionalization: The comic book that the Planet Express crew are sent into in the first crossover was later made into an actual issue of Simpsons Comics; issue 87 had a cover and opening pages that were recreated from the crossover (minus the Planet Express crew dropping in) and was titled "Hail to the Cat".
