• Copiously Credited Creator: Anna Biller designed the sets and costumes herself. She even made the wool pentagram rug over the course of six months.
• Star-Making Role: For Samantha Robinson. It led to her casting in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
• Troubled Production: Production on this film was by all accounts a nightmare, with crew members finding Biller unbearable to work with, to the extent at least half the crew including the ADR director left the production, meaning Biller had to get a new ADR guy. It didn’t help Biller that she later lashed out against them, calling them “sexist” and “afraid of women”. When asked about what the production was like, the director of photography M. David Mullen flat out said “I’m not allowed to talk about it.”
