- Ascended Fanon: One YouTuber Smii7y has made a recurring gag of depicting the treadmill as an Offscreen Teleporting Companion Cube throughout his play-through. The game would later update to have the treadmill traverse the home map to various remote locations with each mission after "Truckload of Trouble", as if sentient and supernatural in nature. In addition, one of the achievements, "Couch Potato", involves breaking the treadmill in some fashion, another gag of Smii7y destroying the treadmill Once an Episode.
