• Creator's Favorite Episode: Shelby Rabara has said that this was her favorite episode to perform in, mostly because she had to carry the whole thing herself and got to perfect the subtle cadences of Peridot's voice in the process.
• Deleted Scene: There was a scene cut for time where Pearl and Amethyst teach Peridot about eating by having her wear a birthday hat and sit in a high chair.
  Peridot: The hat feels... redundant.
  Amethyst: It's to celebrate homegirl's first food!
  Peridot: Then what's the chair for?
  Pearl: Safety.
  Amethyst: Yeah, safety.
• Throw It In!: While trying to figure out the right intonation for a certain line, Shelby Rabara randomly purred. The purr was edited into the shot of Peridot eagerly pulling on her boxer shorts for comic effect.
