• Real-Life Relative: Seven's husband is played by Jon Jon Briones, father of Isa Briones (Soji), though she doesn't appear in this episode.
• What Could Have Been: Robert Beltran revealed that he had been offered the chance to reprise his role as Chakotay in the episode but he had turned it down because he disliked the way the character was written. Showrunner Terry Matalas further revealed that Beltran was going to play Seven's alternate universe husband, First Magistrate Chakotay, which was instead re-written into a different character for actor Jon Jon Briones.
