• Screwed by the Lawyers: The game was programmed by Ikegami Tsushinki, the firm that also programmed Donkey Kong and other early Nintendo games. The legal altercations between Ikegami Tsushinki and Nintendo over Donkey Kong's code did not help Sky Skipper's release chances any in the ensuing decades, but Hamster was finally able to work out any longstanding legal issues for their 2018 rerelease.
• The Shelf of Movie Languishment: The arcade original was created and intended to release in 1981, but Nintendo cancelled its release after it was poorly received by test players. It would finally be released in 2018 by Hamster on the Nintendo Switch, a whopping 37 years later.
