- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Capcom taking the game down only got it leaked by fans before another developer translated it to English and pushed it as close to proper completion as he could — without Technodot's blessing. While the latest version is easily accessible, patches to add back in the uncensored assets are harder to come by.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: Capcom took the game down after finding Technodot used a paywall for beta builds. They originally justified it as the patents
for the Mega Man Battle Network mechanics applying in Japan, but once Westerners revived the project with no money involved, Capcom instead used its lifted graphics and Mega Man Zero cameos as an argument for taking it down again. Later versions replaced the lifted graphics for this reason.
