• Career Resurrection: After more than a decade away from the limelight, Shaky enjoyed a resurgence in popularity thanks to his appearance on the British TV show Hit Me, Baby, One More Time in 2005. The show itself was to all intents and purposes built around this trope, as the premise was that each week, several formerly popular musical artists would perform one of their old hits and a cover of a then-contemporary hit, with a public phone-in deciding which of them would go through to the show's final in which the same format was repreated between all of the heat winners. Shaky won the final, following which he released a greatest hits album and was booked to make a few celebrity appearances. Three years later, he performed at the 2008 Glastonbury Festival.
