- Colbert Bump: A lot of things he covers in his Have You Heard About series tends to get hit with this a lot, including Mike and Melissa, Diary of a Wimpy Kid fanfics (including the infamous Diary of a Wimpy Kid: 25 Years Later), and Zelda UO.
- Possibly one of the most heartwarming examples has to be his coverage of the SpongeBob SquarePants fan-series SpongeBob: Beyond, in which he went in expecting to use his usual snarky-ness, only to end up being genuinely impressed by the quality of the series, especially in the later episodes. When he first showcased it, the creators, 12th Art Group, only had around 700 subscribers. As of this writing, they are sitting at a comfortable 10,000.

that he does not approve of people drawing porn of his avatars and to not send it to him. - Screwed by the Lawyers: A Have You Heard About episode called "Have You Heard About: Fast Food Training Videos" got taken down from YouTube after being given a copyright strike by the cameraman of the first video shown. However, it was later made available on his website... before THAT got taken down too.
